Open Workshops
HFACS Inc. has proudly partnered with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to provide professional training in human factors and safety. These workshops are designed to equip professionals with specialized training in human factors, safety management, accident investigation, and the HFACS framework. To meet the increasing demand for skilled safety professionals and accident investigators, Embry-Riddle and HFACS Inc. have developed the Certificate of Management in Human Factors Analysis and Classification (HFACS). The certificate program requires completion of three courses, which integrate interactive learning in conjunction with discussion, critical thinking, and case studies. Participants may earn the Certificate of Management in HFACS by completing three courses: (1) HFACS; (2) HFACS-Advanced; and (3) either Mastering Human Factors for Safer Systems or AI for Human Factors & System Safety. Embry-Riddle awards Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for each course completion.
